12/18 Last Jedi

On Monday, I went to my Grandma's place for a visit. We went to eat dimsum for lunch. Then later I went to Midvalley and watched The Last Jedi with my cousin. The movie was alright. In my opinion, the acting from previous Star Wars were a lot better. In any case, I still recommend watching the movie. After the movie, I went back and had my grandma's cooking for dinner. An hour after the dinner I went home. It was a fun and chill day.

Learning about SEO

Today and tomorrow I have to take a class on SEO. It's at my dad's office so I get to take the class for free. Even though I'm not that interested, I guess it's a good learning opportunity since people pay 1000RM to attend this class.

12/15/17

I definitely want to start working on another blog related to League of Legends; it's just to give my thoughts and strategies on how to approach the game. I have added it on the page tabs. Of course, I also want to blog more here but sometimes I got nothing to write about. Currently, I'm learning how to use WordPress over my school break. Other than that, I'm really looking forward to next semester and the next season of League of Legends.

Somehow 18

This web korean drama was so good. I don't even want to explain it. It's a must watch. You have to see for yourself.

Justice League + Ramen Bankara

Today, I went to Midvalley and watched Justice League with my cousin. The movie was neither amazing nor was it bad; it was just okay. The beginning was really boring and kinda slow but it picked up and got to the action towards the middle of the movie. Before watching the movie, we ate at Ramen Bankara. The green tea there was imported and you could taste the difference. It's probably one of the best green teas I've had in Malaysia; my cousin  thought so too. We both had their signature dish, the Kakuni Bankara. It was a bit pricey but their portion was really generous. Overall, this place was amazing and I would definitely go back again.

I'm Really Shocked

It was 12 October 2017. I wanted to turn in my Introduction to Marketing assignment that was due the day after. The assignment was a group assignment and I was in a team of three. One of my partner's completely copied and pasted from two website to fill up a 700 word introduction. Luckily, my other partner and I checked his work before submitting I could've had to retake the subject because of this guy. Really unbelievable .

Indonesia First Time

Last weekend, I went to Indonesia for the first time. I was only around the Jakarta area. I didnt do much but it was a good experience. I definitely wouldn't live in Indonesia though. The jams there are insane; you can be stuck in traffic for hours. I thought it was cool that they implemented these grab motorcycles. It's basically like Uber or Grabcar but on a motorcyle. Also, I went to ITC Manggua mall. The mall there was crazy. There were thousands of shops all clumped together. Indonesia was an interesting experience but I don't think I'd want to go back there again.

Absolutely Ridiculous

Today, I went out to Sunway Pyramid and ate at a sushi place. After my squad paid the bill, it seemed too little so we counted it out and it was true. We are good people; we went to tell the cashier that they made a mistake. They only charged us for 6 plates instead of 14. I ended up having to explain to the cashier and even counted the plates that we were charged on our receipt. He still insisted that he was right. I honestly couldn't believe this guy couldn't count to 14. When we counted the plates up on the receipt it only added up to 6 which means we didn't pay for 8 plates. I was really confused how he didn't understand even after counting one by one. We ended up paying for 4 of the 8 plates but didn't pay for 4 because the cashier thought that was it. We just left because he wasted our time. I can't believe I wasted 20 minutes trying to argue and having to pay for their mistake. Can people be really this stupid?

Birthday 21

This post is a bit late. My birthday was yesterday and I turned 21. I had a cake during lunch time with my dad, stepmom and stepsisters. After that I played PUBG with some online friends until around 3pm. Once I finished playing PUBG, I went to visit my grandparents. I went to Steak and Lobster with my uncle's family and one of my cousins. I ate The Epic Road Kill, a 600 gram piece of steak as well as this beautiful King Kong oreo shake. It was so delicious; I would definitely go back again. After eating dinner, I went with my cousins and watched Cars 3. The movie was actually decent with a surprising plot twist near the end. I ended the day eating supper with my grandpa and my other uncle and his two sons. I had a great day today and I feel a little old now.

4 Chinese Movies in One Day

Yes, I watched four Chinese movies today. I watched Secret, Love you you, Hear Me, and  You Are the Apple of My Eye. Honestly, I liked all of them. They are actually all kind of romance but I think the one that shined to me the most was You Are the Apple of My Eye. This movie was really funny and had great character development and the story flowed nicely. If you have free time, I recommend giving some of these Chinese movies a chance. Who knows you might like it and want to share it with someone that enjoys good romance movies.

6/16/2017

I had my last exam and that's basically the end of my first semester. I went to eat Burger Lab with a couple of friends to celebrate for finishing the last exam. Then ended up going to watch Despicable Me. It was a pretty stupid but funny movie. It's a good family movie. Now, I have a one month break and I'm not quite sure what I will do for one whole month.

Today, I Cried

I totally didn't expect it. I cried today. I actually don't even remember the last time I cried. A former classmate from when I went to high school sent me a message and apologized for how he treated me back in high school. It really triggered me because it brought back memories that I didn't want to remember. Well, it was nice of him to apologize. He wants to meet me in KL and hangout but I'm not quite sure if I want to. I'll have to think about it.

Life In Malaysia

It's been a long time since I've blogged. I'm about to hit four months living in Malaysia. After living here for four months, I feel grateful that I was able to live in America. Compared to America, Malaysia sucks but it's not that bad. The food is nice. I love maggi goreng even though it's unhealthy. Who would've thought frying instant noodles would taste delicious. Whoever started this was a genius. Even though I don't like studying and school, university life is actually kind of fun. I've been able to make great friends and improve my socializing skills. I still have a ways to go but it's getting a bit better. I've enjoyed living in Malaysia; I think it's nice to be able to live in a different country and experience the different culture and lifestyle. I can't believe I had to do a group presentation and present in Malay. I actually presented in Malay. Even though I had a script and I only concluded the presentation, I still felt a sense of accomplishment because of the time I spent practicing the pronunciation. I have exams in about three weeks. I'm not too excited about that but I'm confident I will do well. Also, I found someone I'm interested in at school. I feel like I gave them lots of hints but I'm not sure if they got it or not. I don't want to ask her out or confess unless I'm 99.9% confident that I will get the reply I want. I like the way things are. However way it goes I won't mind but I really hope that she'll be my first girlfriend. She's kind of short and super cute in my opinion. As for League of Legends, I really hope I can make challenger this season; that's my goal. I'm slightly worried if I have to miss my next semester because I want to switch from a Malaysian student to an international student so I don't have to take Malay courses. If I do, I'll have to get a student VISA and the school won't let me study while the VISA is processing. I'll be sad because I will be one semester behind all the friends I made this semester and I will probably have to make new friends. Oh well, I will survive. Things could be worse. I'm thinking about starting to make YouTube videos again but not quite sure if I'll even get views. Anyways that's it for now. If I feel inspired to write something, I will blog about it.

MYCL

Today, I participated in MYCl qualifiers for Sunway University. My team actually won first place and we will get to represent the university in the grand finals against other universities in Malaysia. The winner of that will get to represent Malaysia. I'm excited. I hope I can represent Malaysia and go to South Korea to play against other countries.

Inspired by Beauty and the Beast

You're the Beauty, I'm the Beast

You're beautiful
Everyone knows but you
Your long perfect hair
Your sweet smile
Your loving eyes
You're perfect from head to toe
You're the beauty,

I'm ugly and scary
Everyone is scared of me but you
I used to be handsome
I used to have a nice smile
I used to have lovely eyes
I used to be perfect
Now I'm the beast.

You fell for me
Not for my outer appearance
But for my inner beauty
Naturally, I fell for you
Maybe for your outer beauty at first
But later your inner beauty as well
You and I we were meant to be

I'm so glad you're mine now
I'll protect you with all my heart
Our love forever
Our happiness forever
Let us live happily ever after
Let us be known
The Beauty and the Beast

Teletubbies

This won't be a long post and it's really random, but I want to share my thoughts on TeletubbiesTeletubbies is supposedly an educational show meant for one year old children. I've personally seen this show myself when I was younger, and I wish I was never exposed to it. There's no research to prove that this show was educational. It doesn't help with speaking either. In my opinion this show is really stupid and I would never let my children watch it.

H2H Books

As you've probably noticed, there's a new tab to the left of the about me labeled H2H Book. It's still a work in progress but feel free to check it out and support me. The link actually takes you to my ebook store called H2H which stands for Here To Help. At the moment, it has some books but none that I wrote myself yet. Maybe sometime in the near future I will be writing some short books giving tips or champion guides for League of Legends. Also, I updated my music playlist a bit. I'll try to post more about random thoughts about things. That's all for now. Thanks for visiting my blog.

February's Over

Just a recap of my February 2017. I got into Sunway University and I'm taking a business degree under Victoria University program. I don't know what I'm majoring yet, however I can choose my major my second year. I've made a few friends so far and I joined five clubs: badminton, Korean, Japan, E-sports, and anime. I was able to spend Chinese New Year and get some money. I was also alone for Valentine's day; hopefully, I won't be next year. Taeyeon's new song Fine is my new favorite song for the time being. I think that's pretty much it for my February 2017.

Day 2/18/2017

I played another League of Legends tournament on Saturday and won first place! First place got 600 RP and that's worth about 10 USD on Garena server. I got the organizer to find me a team and I was also able to make some new friends from the team. After that I bought milk tea and got school supplies at a book store nearby since classes are starting for me on Monday. In addition to that, I found a badminton shop nearby and bought a racket. I bought a racket because I joined the badminton club at Sunway University and hopefully I will join in on one of their sessions next Saturday. I'm so excited.

Sunway University And A Little Update

Today, I got accepted into Sunway University, the university that I really wanted to go to. Going to register and pay tomorrow at the school. I'm so excited I can't wait to make new friends. Also, last Sunday, I played a league tournament at an internet cafe; It was really fun and I made some new friends. I was sick for two weeks since arriving in Malaysia. I'm finally glad I'm not sick anymore. I also got a lot of money from Chinese New Year. So far, I'm enjoying my new adventure in Malaysia and excited to see what will happen next.

Tips to climb for League of Legends

Don't focus on trying to rank up fast. Focus on improving your mechanics and game knowledge. You will naturally climb if you're playing better than the people in bronze. If you've been stuck there for 3 years, it means for 3 years you haven't improved at all. You should be playing ranked to get better and that will be shown when you're climbing. There's no secrets to climbing. Just by getting better you will climb on your own. I suggest after every game try to figure out mistakes you made and what you could've done better. If you can't figure out what mistakes you're making find a good player and have them watch your game and tell you your mistakes and what you could've done better. Also, don't have a mindset that bronze is elo hell or that your teammates are holding you back. Your teammates can flame, feed, etc but you shouldn't let any of that affect how you play. Hope I made sense. Good luck ~
