My name is Shawn Voon. I was born September 9, 1996 in Malaysia. I am Chinese but I sometimes get confused for Filipino because of the tan I got from playing soccer and tennis during the summer when I was still in middle school and high school. Unfortunately, I never picked up Malay or Mandarin but I was able to pick up Cantonese. I'm pretty proficient in Cantonese, but I can't write in Cantonese. I was born in Malaysia, and I just recently moved back to Malaysia late January 2017. I moved to California when I was around five or six years old. I'm an introvert and not a very social creature; however I am slowly working to improve this. I do not like attention; I hated giving presentations in school. I guess you could call me a gamer; I enjoy playing PUBG, League of Legends, Overwatch, Hearthstone, and many other games. I'm into the Asian culture. I love anime, K-pop, Asian dramas. As for K-pop, my favorite group is Vixx. My favorite group is Vixx because I love their choreography, I like the lyrics to their songs, and I find them unique compared to the other groups. Then my top three animes are Prince Of Tennis, Sword Art Online, and No Game No Life. In fact, Prince of Tennis inspired me to play tennis! One of my favorite lines from Prince of Tennis is mada mada dane which means you still have a ways to go. I recently started to enjoy reading manga. Honestly, the only types of books I'll ever read. My favorite manga is Tales of Demons and Gods. My favorite K-drama is My Girlfriend is a Gumiho; it has one of my favorite scenes. As for food, I love to eat steak, bubble tea, ramen, anything Asian, spaghetti, basically any kind of food except eggplant, mushrooms, and durian.
