Branded Dropshipping - Will have to try this in the future

Today, I learned about branded dropshipping through YouTube. It seems like a solid strategy to grow a long-term dropshipping website. Basically, it's about doing product research and getting a quality product with good suppliers. Then branding it to give value and trust to consumers rather than just simply copy pasting products to a dropshipping site. I'm actually interested in pursuing this and I will be keen on trying it after I move out. In the meantime, I will keep learning more about it and other things.

Thoughts On George Floyd Drama

Recently, the big news is about George Floyd. I read the news about it and I even saw the video. I'm really shocked that police officers in America would try to apprehend someone by putting their knee on their neck. That's absolutely disgusting and baffling. I'm glad it got caught on camera and shown to the world. Although I understand why people want to protest, there has to be a more peaceful way to settle the issue. If that's not the only issue, the corona virus is still going on and people are gathering for protest. Gathering will only help make the corona virus spread more and makes me feel like these people are idiots for trying to gather and protest. I hope justice is served and that this will bring change in the law enforcement system in America. Things like this happening just shows that America isn't as great as it used to be and I hope that people are starting to learn that. Other countries are going to surpass America. China is already surpassing America and I feel like Singapore, Japan or a country in Europe will be next. End of May 2020 Update

Wow it's been so long since I last blogged. Sorry for not posting so long.This will be my first post for the year 2020! I'm officially done with my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management & Innovation. I received my certificate a few weeks ago through the mail since graduation was postponed to June but I have a feeling that it will be postponed again. It will actually be kind of good if it postpones because then my mom and stepdad might be able to go to my graduation when they come visit to Malaysia in November. Currently, I'm helping my dad with his job and doing part time with a business networking club. At the same time, I'm trying to find a new job because I don't like working with family and I think many others share this feeling as well. Sadly, for the past three months I've been stuck at home due to the corona virus outbreak. Unfortunately, it has made a huge impact to the economy as well and the job market isn't looking so hot which has made it a struggle to search for a job. Also, I will be starting to post more frequently and the topic can be anything I feel like talking about.

November 2019 Update

Exams are over! My degree life is complete provided I pass all my exams. It is time to join the workforce. My dad wants me to help him with his business for around three months and has given me the task to create ready to go drop shipping to provide people with an opportunity for instant business. It could be a good income and passive income because people have to pay for the maintenance of it. I will do this, work on my CV and look at jobs that I want to work for. Anyways I got to hang out with two good friends of mine, Kazuho and Park on Nov 16. We ate kbbq for our lunch/dinner. After that we watched Maleficent 2 in a kid theater room which was kinda funny because they kept the lights on and there was a playground in the front. Then we played a few games at a PC cafe to end the day. Well that's it for now.

October Update

My mom and Ryan came with their friends to Malaysia for a vacation and a visit. I got to spend time with them in KL and stayed in their air bnb for a couple of days. It was nice seeing my mom after a year. We went around KL area and did shopping in places like Midvalley and Pavilion. We also went to hot spot places like china town and vertigo. They have already left and I will be looking forward to them coming back next year. Anyways for me I am on my last semester with exams coming up in November. I will pass these exams then start looking forward to my working life. Also, this month I have been able to get a letter of offer for part-time job helping a business networking club with their website, being a receptionist for their monthly dinners and their Facebook. Next post will be after exams.

AWS - Amazon Web Service

Today, I went to an AWS connect event. AWS is basically short for Amazon Web Service. In short, they offer cloud computing for businesses. This helps lower the costs for businesses as they only need to pay for what they need. The main point of the event was to get businesses to partner with them to use the AWS technology. The presenters were able to explain things such as benefits of being a partner and how it was a win-win situation. They also went through a few of the many services that AWS provided. It is actually quite interesting and how advanced the technology has gone. I got to learn at the surface level about databases and machine learning and well structured architecture. I am considering getting a basic certificate for the AWS cloud practitioner.

23rd birthday 9/9 2019

Today was my 23rd birthday. I feel so old now. I did not really do much today. I was home with family and had a dinner and a birthday cake. At this time, I was thinking what my birthday will be like the following year after I mostly have moved out already. I'm still unsure what I want to do in the future but I will be working somewhere for sure. Oh well until next year when I turn 24.

Wow Tennis After 5 Years

After not playing for five years, today, I played tennis with the tennis club at my school. It felt really nostalgic. Luckily, I still have some muscle memory so I can still kind of play but definitely not as good as I used to which makes me a bit sad. Oh well, I shall continue playing and hopefully can be decent again. I also got to make some new friends in the tennis club which isn't so bad. I am going to be playing tomorrow as well for a social play that the club has every Thursday.

Just something interesting about me. I got the passion tennis when I was younger after watching an anime called Prince of Tennis. I highly recommend it; it's a classic anime and it will definitely get you to play tennis as well. Sadly after high school, I became a potato and didn't do any sports. I'm at least glad that I'm finally starting again. That's all for now~

So back in the day when Microsoft provided Windows Essentials 2012 for free, I really liked using movie maker to edit videos. Sadly, they do not provide the download for it since they no longer support it. However, I found a way to download it using an offline installer that has saved the download link. August 2019 Update

It's been a long time. I really need to start blogging again. I'm on my last semester of my degree. Still unsure of what I want to do in the future. Hopefully I can get a good paying job and live on my own and then eventually venture into starting my own businesses. Anyhow, today I would like to share a Chinese song. I feel like it's a very uplifting song  and the song is about not giving up and fighting your way to victory. The song is from a drama called King's Avatar that was based on a novel. It also has an animation. I recommend watching it because it is really good! Until next time.

2019 Sorry Long Time No Blog and STARTED A NEW BLOG

It's been a long time since I last blogged. A lot has happened. It's 2019 now and I'm on my last year of University. Chinese New Year has passed and honestly, there isn't much out of the ordinary that has happened. I will post more if anything interesting happens. 11/22 Never Forget

My mom visited Malaysia from November 15-27. I stayed with her during that whole time period. From November 21-23, we went to Pangkor Island Resort. The place was really nice and a good place to just chill and relax. Anyways on Thursday November 22nd, my stepdad, Ryan took my cousin and I to drink. I ended up drinking two tequila shots and two beers but this was like my third time drinking and to be honest, I don't really like drinking. Even as I was walking to my room, I wasn't able to walk straight. I was fine for awhile but then I ended up puking twice. I could see the dinner I ate. After that I passed out on the bed. This was one of those memories that I will never forget.

翻牆的記憶 is a drama I watched recently. I loved the storyline and the character development. Not only that, the acting was superb. I don't want to spoil the drama so you have to watch it yourself to see how great it is. Aside from this drama, I have exams coming soon so I will probably be studying starting Monday.

9/19 Almost Deported

Today, I went for the 3 month cycle of going in and out of Malaysia. This time I went to Singapore and back on the same day. Sadly, on the way back, one of the immigration officers were in a bad mood. They went to report to one of the superiors that I've been coming in and out for almost two years now 😂. Apparently, they said I'm the longest person they've let come in and outside of Malaysia. I feel somewhat proud of that achievement. My dad was somehow able to convince them to let me in one more time. I will not forget how I was slightly scared that there was a chance I could've been deported.

9/9 + 9/10 + 9/11

9/9 was my birthday. It was a pretty normal day for me but I had a nice dinner.

9/10 though was a pretty fun day. I hung out with my cousin and his friends for the whole day. We started the day by going to Batu Caves and climbed up the 222 steps. I was in born in Malaysia and I've visited over the summers and it's sad to say it was my first time going there. It was a good experience. After that we went to eat at Banana Leaf. The food there was on point; I highly recommend eating the lamb there! Moving on, we went to the KL bird park. Unfortunately, it was raining so had to wait about an hour before we could walk around the park. It was actually quite interesting to see all the types of birds in the park. Next, we went to Carcosa Seri Negara. They wanted to go because it was nearby and it was where the movie, Crazy Rich Asians, was filmed at. Ended the day by eating Bak kut teh near my grandpa's hotel.

9/11 I got to try fencing. It was pretty fun and far from what I thought it would be in my ahead. It was really tiring but I had fun.

9/2 Sunday Church

Today, I went to my cousin's Christian church. There were two parts, the communion and the youth group. It was an interesting experience. I was surprised that there was so much singing; it was almost an hour for each part so about two hours. The pastors were really enthusiastic being the emcee and talking about God. The people there were so passionate about their belief in God. It was so strong that I could feel it at the end when some of the youth group leaders prayed for me that God would give me a vision or something and that I would one day follow Christianity. It was actually a bit scary at how strong the belief in God was for some of the people. Even after this experience, I wish to remain a free believer because I feel that there is no right or wrong religion so one shouldn't have to devote them self to one single religion. In addition to that, it's good to be open to anything and be able to not restrict oneself to a single religion. Next post will be on my birthday which is next week. I'll be 22! Double digits of my favorite number!

It's been a while since I blogged. This song is sooooo gooood. This song has been stuck in my head for days. The song is a classic but the girl that sings it has such an amazing voice.

Behind the Song #1

I've thought about it, and I have decided that I will make a post explaining the meanings behind the songs I like. I plan to do this at least once a month which means that you're guaranteed one awesome behind the song once a month so look forward to it.

First of all, let's label the type of song this is. The title of the song is The Promised Love and the song is downbeat with a sad loving tone from Jay Chou's voice. With this I'm going to label this as a sad love song. If you truly listen to the song and understand it, you will be able to feel what Jay Chou is trying to say in his song.
Now, I will try to explain the song in how I see it. There's a man and woman that are together and promise each other that they will love each other until the very end. (There's no evidence from the lyrics that they are married or not but it's possible and that's up to how you see it.) This is before the song actually happens. The song is the man asking the woman what happen to the love that they promised to each other.
The song starts with him talking about how she was slowly drifting away and not replying to him.He talks about a white dove that lost its sweetness. When he says this, I believe he's using the dove as a symbol of love which represented the woman. So what happened to the promised love?
